Are you all getting ready for Christmas? We are! We have decorated inside and out!
When growing up, my mother started a Christmas tradition in our home of collecting new pieces to add to her porcelain Christmas village display. Each year, us kids would buy something to add to it. So when Kristin and I were married, we decided to carry on the tradition in our home. Each Christmas for the past four years, we have done just that. We currently have almost a dozen buildings including a Golf Shop, an inn, a grist mill and a dairy barn. We also have a gazebo, a fishing pond and numerous little figures, such as, a chimney sweep, a fisherman, a doctor and children on sleds. I will post pics of the village in a day or so.
Anyway, I just wanted to give a little update since I haven't posted in a while. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas!
