Wednesday Night

Another great move of the Holy Ghost at Wednesday night campmeeting. Again Bro. Michael Alexander led songs and we had a great time singing unto the Lord. The Camp Choir (of which I am a member) sang a medley of "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" and "Total Praise." We also sang a great song, originally recorded by Ron Kenoly, called "Jesus Is Alive." It really is an awesome song; it's a shouting and aisle-running song. :)

This year at camp was a little different as far as the lineup of speakers. Instead of the usual, one day speaker and one evening speaker, the four evening services were divided between Bro. Don Hyler from California and Bro. Brad Lambeth from Brazil. So last night Bro. Lambeth preached an absolutely fantastic message to which he didn't give a title. So as before, I will title it for him. I would call it either "Back To The Basics" or "The Flow Of God's Power." There is just no possible way to summarize the power and anointing of that message. You just have to get the CD. I'm sure those who were there would agree. But I will attempt to give you a little teaser that will inspire you to get a copy of the CD. (And no, I don't benefit from CD sales. :)) Anyway, he spoke about the importance of recognizing how God "runs" things. There is a particular plan or avenue through which God will pour out His power, and that is:

GOD

The Word

The Ministry

Like I said, get the CD! You will not regret it and you will be blessed.

After the service, I ran in to Sam, the young man I met on Tuesday night who is from Oregon, and I was able to meet his mother, who as it turns out knows my parents! It truly is a small world. We chatted for awhile and also found out that they are related to some really good friends of mine as well. It was great to talk to some fellow Pacific Northwesterners.

I will post pics from last night later tonight. Ciao for now!
